John Kamau has a diverse training background raging from a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry (First Class Honors) from Kenyatta University (KU), a Master’s of Science in Public Health (MPH) from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), a second Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Nairobi (UoN) and PhD in Project Planning and Management, Specializing in Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) from the University of Nairobi. John is a Certified Monitoring & Evaluation Professional (CMEP).
John Kamau is the Director of Projects & Principal Consultant at Scorecard Monitoring & Evaluation Ltd, a consulting firm specializing in research, monitoring & evaluations, strategic planning, project and programme design, M&E trainings, data analysis consultancy among other project management related activities.
John has handled many M&E exercises including Baseline Surveys, Mid-Term and Endline Evaluations for various organizations including but not limited to Save the Children International–Kenya, Islamic Relief, SAF-UK, Plan International, International Medicalcorps, Homabay County Government, Trociare Somalia, Save the Children International-Somalia among others. John is a board member of The Evaluation Society of Kenya (ESK) and full member of The Kenya Association of Project Managers (KAPM), and The African Evaluation Association (AFREA).
